About Me

I'm entering my senior at Boston University, majoring in journalism and public relations! I'm originally from Costa Rica with roots in Honduras, but much of my life has been shaped by constat moves. Having lived in the Philippines, Hong Kong, and now Boston, my upbringing has played a big role in shaping my storytelling and fueling my desire to cover diverse communities and stories.

During my time at BU, I've worked as a reporter for The Daily Free Press, served editor and writer Her Campus Media’s BU chapter, and helped lead marketing initiatives through the BU International Affairs Association, before going abroad and London and working with an aviation news company.

Currently, I’m interning with Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra (WNEU), reporting on a wide range of local news across New England—including public safety, housing, education, and cultural events— and working with communications and public affairs consulting group, Stomping Ground Strategies.

I’m passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices and crafting stories that inform, connect, and inspire change through both written and multimedia formats, and hope to continue doing work thar serves a purpose.
